For the costume moodboard, the main prop that is common is the use of mask. The reason for this is that in the genre of horror, a mask is typically used and is a essential piece as it hides the identity of the killer. As you can see from the display above, there are may different masks, from the infamous one in 'Scream' to the freaky 'Saw' doll. A picture of Samara from the ring is also used as the character has cleverly hidden their identity without the use of a mask; but instead, draping their face with their long wispy hai. The clothes the girl is wearing is also rags essentially, conveying she is either poor in wealth or is living in morbid conditions. Use of makeup is also critical in horror movies. A closeup of a girl is embedded in our moodboard as the use of the girls makeup is successful. She has pale skin and clear coloured contacts that immediately thrust fear upon the viewers. She also has various sized cuts and scars situated across her face. An image I found ironic is the picture located on the top left of the moodboard. It shows an old rusty face with a blood skeleton coming out of his mouth. I believe this represent the idea that there is evil within the man that is dying to come out. The fact that the skeleton is covered in blood indicates that the character maybe feeds on blood hence killing and murdering humans. Weapons are also vital props in horror movies as they are commonly used to kill or torture people. The weapons range from axes to scissors.
